A big VW wave HELLO from us. Together we make up Van Life Family but separately we are Amy (Mum), Dan (Dad), Sienna (9), Savannah (7) and Luna dog (our 3 year old Cockapoo).

We are a fun-filled outdoor adventure family who want to experience as much of the natural world as possible. We have travelled extensively throughout the UK, making the most of every weekend and holiday together, 12 months of the year. Last year, we also spent five months travelling full-time in our VW T5 campervan. We deregistered the girls from school and I home educated them on the road. Throughout our travels we always aiming to inspire other families to spend more time outdoors, appreciating the world around us. We hope to encourage people to visit new areas in the UK that they may not have considered visiting before, giving them practical advice which will enable them to do this with confidence.

Since the world has opened up again to travel, we have started exploring further afield. We spent 3 weeks touring the Wild Atlantic Way earlier this year and this summer we plan to embark on a 7 week road trip across several EU countries, including Switzerland, Italy and Austria. When we aren’t travelling (which doesn’t happen very often), we are working on converting a Volkswagen crafter. Converting a bigger van, from scratch has been something Dan and I have talked about for several years and while we were travelling in Ireland, we realised it was the next logical step for our family and our next big dream to work towards.
